Visiting Analyst

About us
SET Ventures is a precision VC firm that invests exclusively in solutions for the digital energy economy. We’re a team of specialist energy investors with the insight, network and drive to turn startups into market leaders.
We strongly believe the energy transition is more than a linear shift. It is a fundamental economic transformation and we’re proud to back the category-defining companies making this happen. Companies like Sensorfact, Instagrid, ESFORIN and sonnen.
In 2024, we raised our fourth fund at €200m to invest in the next generation of energytech founders that will drive the digital energy economy. We invest €2-6m as lead investor into energy related Seed & Series A rounds across Europe and have the follow-on capital to provide long-term support.
At SET, we greatly value diversity of backgrounds and perspectives and enjoy discussing opposing views and opinions. We are a growing team of 15 who combine decades of experience in tech, entrepreneurship, VC, energy, marketing and research. We have a diverse mix of colleagues with American, British, Dutch, French, German and Swiss roots. In our day to day work, honesty and a pragmatic attitude are highly valued as we focus on getting things done collaboratively.
